All variables are eliminated, engine/transmission on new mounts and properly aligned, new tires, wheels rebalanced, diff inspected by driveline specialist, diff swapped for newly rebuilt diff, the only variable now is the shafts themselves. I did not try the 2-pc since eliminating all the other variables. Also this vibration is ever so slight, if I were back in the US I would likely never notice it unless I got some open stretches of interstate in front of me. But now, I am driving 100+mph on a routine basis for extended periods of time, this makes a huge difference, a very slight vibration becomes something very different. It doesnt get more severe, but it begins to resonate with a rear quarter window and the hatch area in general, creating a lot of noise. Also this speaks to the amount that going with polyurethane bushings increases driveline NVH. This is no secret. If I had factory bushings, maybe I wouldnt notice it, or maybe the carrier assembly absorbs enough, I'll know soon enough once I switch.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened.... I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform." --Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill END THE FED ....learn why, in 42 minutes
